Good morning friends – Hope everyone had a nice weekend and your week is getting of to a great start.  Our weekend started off with a 22 mile run.  We were fortunate to have just a tad bit cooler weather which made it nice :-)  The remainder of the weekend was filled with lots of yard work and some nice relaxing time at the lake.

One more long run to go before marathon day on November 18th.  Such a nice feeling to know it will be taper time soon.

I have a guest post for you today from the Color in Motion 5K which will be in Jacksonville on December 29th.  The wonderful folks in charge of the race have given me two tickets to give to one lucky winner.   Please comment on the post, if you would like a chance to win.  Winner will be chosen randomly on October 31st.  Good luck!

“Color in Motion 5k organizes 5k’s across the country that have a surprise at every kilometer; COLOR!

The difference between these 5k’s and other 5k’s is that they jazz the race (and the racers!) up with bursts of color. You start out all fresh and  clean in your white t-shirt, and by the end of the race you are covered  in vibrant springtime camouflage.

Color in Motion 5k is coming to Jacksonville on December 29th, 2012. A portion of  all registration fees will be donated to the Hubbard House.

Find out more information at: http://colorinmotion5k.com/event/Dallas

Again, if you would like an opportunity to win two entries to the race, please comment on this post.  Or comment anyway as I would love to hear from you!  Also, if you are interested in running this race you can take 15 percent off of your entry fee by entering GETFIT15 when you check out.    Have a healthy day!

PRODUCT REVIEW

by linda

Hello Friends – Hope everyone is having a great week so far.  We finally got some fall like weather down here.  I don’t think it is going to last long, but I’ll take it!  The lovely people at Früsh contacted me recently about a new product available near me.  They sent me some samples and some reference material on a new drinkable yogurt:  Früsh.

Früsh is an all- natural yogurt with fresh fruit and added probiotics and calcium.  It is a great healthy snack.  The flavors are blueberry, strawberry, strawberry/banana and peach.  I had some friends and co-workers try and give me their thoughts.  The majority liked all flavors, but peach seemed to be the favorite.  Also, the style of the bottle was a plus for most.  I, personally, liked the peach the best.  Although the strawberry/banana was a close second.  I like the fact that all the ingredients were natural.  I did think the sugar content was a little on the high side though.  Overall, I thought it was a good product.  If you want to learn more, check out the website at www.gofrush.com .  It is available at the following stores:  Winn-Dixie, Food Lion, Bi-Lo, Harris Teeter, Piggly Wiggly, Ingles, Wilco, Food City, Hannaford, Price Chopper and Lowes Food.

If you have tried Früsh, let me know your thoughts.  I would love to hear from you.  Have a healthy day!
