Hello Friends – Hope a good weekend was had by all.  Mine started with a 20 mile run.  I had a friend meet me at mile 7 and she ran 4 with me, but the rest I did solo.  It wasn’t too terribly bad thanks to these little gems

They were perfect for giving me the energy I needed and tasted great.  It was the first time I had ever tried these, but want to make sure I have these on the day of the marathon.  Loved them.  We headed to the lake for the weekend.  Another Gator game to attend with another win by the Gators!  Good stuff.

The weather was beautiful with just a hint of fall in the air.  The evening sky Saturday night was beautiful and enjoyed at the end of the dock with great friends and cocktails 🙂

If you are training for a fall marathon, how is your training going?  Do you find yourself dreading or looking forward to those early morning Saturday or Sunday morning runs?

I might be the only person in the world who has no marathon on my bucket list!! I used to run a lot in my mid 20s but now I do other things. 20 miles is awesome.
